The Difference Between a Dream Catcher and a Dream Weaver

Are you a dream catcher or a dream weaver? A dream catcher is a person who lives life based on the ideas that get thrown to them. You’re unsure of your career path so your mother says, “Become a teacher” and you go for it. Dream catchers feel safe when their plans are validated by others. They don’t just like approval; they require it to move ahead with things. While there’s nothing wrong in being a dream catcher, it feels so much better to be a dream weaver. Dream weavers listen to their inner calling and, from that, they build and create the lives they want. They try new things. Some things work; others don’t but they continue to follow the path less traveled because they know that no matter what road they veer off on, they have the ability, within themselves, to create an entirely new path. They live an adventure with no limitations, no regrets and even their obstacles, to them, look like opportunities.

Which one would you rather be, a dream catcher or a dream weaver?
